SysDev Laboratories could decline any specific project in following specific cases:
- Project is out of our expertise;
- Project may violate third-party copyrights;
- The project is not time/cost efficient and analysis results could not be reused in our future software products.
In case the project could be accepted, you may force Non-Disclosure Agreement acceptance. At the next stage we analyzing project scope and considering rough project budget.
In case project terms, conditions and price are negotiated, we start the actual work. No any prepayments are required.
Only Trial project result or first stage result accepted by Customer is the reason to sign Service Contract and to invoice the Customer.
After project is paid we pass the rights to the project to the Customer. The following licensing schemas are possible:
- non-exclusive license: the cheapest but could be not accepted by us for particular project;
- exclusive time-limited license for binaries;
- exclusive time unlimited license for binaries.
Source code as well as any analysis results remains the property of SysDev Laboratories. Any third-party or existing source code modules used for the specific software could not be passed to the Customer.
For any specific project software licensing schema could be considered and customized with the Customer.
