Data analisys

Recovery Explorer Professional features extensive storage and data analysis methods. The present software solution includes tools for low-level data consistency analysis. The program allows identifying location of descriptor, its contents, mapping and navigating among of fragments. If file contents are faulty, it enables finding and correcting the faulty ones.

Disk-on-disk recovery

The disk-on-disk technology enlisted into software features is also worth mentioning. It lets you open a virtual disk nested on a physical storage. Therefore, you can easily build RAID with VMware ESX virtual machines (VMFS file system) stored, open virtual disk directly from VMFS and recover data straight from virtual machine without the need to extract virtual disk first.

Full-disk decryption

The software is able to decrypt disk volumes for data recovery and on data access purposes (if encryption key is known). Among supported systems are Windows EFS and Linux with its device mapper encryption module (dm-crypt) and LUKS encryption method and can be used with encrypted storages (including NAS storages).
