NEVER download or install the software to the storage you have lost your information from. This can result into permanent data loss. In case of data loss from a system partition it is strongly recommended to shut down the system and consider using UFS Explorer Emergency Recovery CD.

Raise Data Recovery version 5 is deprecated. You may consider switching to either of:

Raise Data Recovery version 6:
  • Simple, Wizard-style interface;
  • Fits best for data recovery from removable storages;
  • Many file systems in a single product;
  • Supports most popular storage devices;
  • Advanced file content viewer;
  • Modular activation with lifetime license and Short- or Long-term support plans.
  UFS Explorer Standard Recovery:

Raise Data Recovery is a software product group that comprises data recovery applications each designed for certain file system type. The applications are fully functional, and they gain the lower cost due to their focus on the concrete file system. Principally, these programs are aimed at recovery of lost and accidentally deleted files at the same time allowing for reconstruction of the file system and optional assembly of RAID.

Key software features include:

Data recovery from UFS/UFS2 file system

Raise Data Recovery for UFS/UFS2 supports recovery of all types of files from storages formatted with UFS and UFS2 file systems (both big and little-endian formats), including storages of Unix, BSD, Solaris desktops, servers.

File system reconstruction

Raise Data Recovery for UFS/UFS2 allows reconstructing the UFS/UFS2 partitions lost after a logical storage damage. The software includes tool for automatic partition search as well as tool for assigning the partition to the certain storage area presumably the area to contain the partition structure. This application will recover lost data after formatting as well.

Optional RAID assembly

The software provides an opportunity to make a pre-recovery assembly of drives dismounted from a RAID device. This program allows putting together parts of complex storages including RAID level 0, 3, 5, 6 and JBOD. RAID-Builder plugin will let you assemble an array in a degraded mode with missing drives. Due to this RAID-Builder module, Raise Data Recovery for UFS/UFS2 will also be perfect solution for data recovery from NAS.

Handling virtual disks and disk images

Along with physical drives of different storages, Raise Data Recovery for UFS/UFS2 works with virtual drives of virtual machines and disk images. The software will manage virtual drives and disk images as efficiently as the physical ones making available the same tools for both.
