Price changes

Price increase

The above-mentioned service prices are given for standard RAID configurations – classic RAID 0 or RAID 5/RAID 6 with left-symmetric parity distribution – under non-aggravated data loss conditions and shall be deemed as basic. Below you can find the factors increasing the services cost and the increase rate.

Discounts

SysDev Laboratories grant their customers discounts from the basic prices. Depending on the data loss case, a significant discount may be provided to individuals not aimed at commercial data recovery.
A discount of up to 50% can be provided for recovery from RAID in case of a controller failure and if the data remains intact.
The recovery of standard software RAID systems such as "mdadm" can be discounted.
The cost for reconstruction of a mirrored RAID 1 set is calculated as recovery from a linear storage.
The cost of recovery from a multi-disk RAID 10 system is calculated as RAID 0 with the total number of disks as the number of disks in RAID 10 divided by two.
The cost of nested RAID 1 variants is calculated as conventional not-mirrored RAID with the number of disks divided by two.
